Internet Connection
In order to participate in the TCM Review exam prep courses, students should consider their internet speed. Most modern computers can stream videos and live events with no problem. Issues usually arise with internet speed. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Live Webinars – at least 3-4 mbps download speed
- Recorded Videos – at least 2-3 mbps download speed
Please check with your internet service provider (Comcast, Verizon, etc.) or run a test at fast.com to determine this. We use Vimeo to stream our class videos.
If you stream high quality videos on Netflix or iTunes, you should have no problem participating in the ourse. Watching a YouTube video with no problem is not a good indicator of whether you will be able to participate in the course (especially live classroom) without interruption – their content is usually of much lower quality.
