Clinical Case Studies Week 1: Zang Fu Patterns
Clear comprehension of Zang Fu pattern differentiation is an essential part of the information needed to pass your exams. We examine and identify the symptoms, making diagnosis options clear and simple.
Clinical Case Studies Week 2: Single Points
This class is a deep dive into single points, empirical points and point combinations. This information is gleaned from several different texts and is a concise system you can count on to get you through any acupuncture case study question. The last two videos in this series cover how to select points for case studies and how to approach acupuncture case studies. This series has a lot of information in it. Be patient with yourself as it will take time to master this system.
Clinical Case Studies Week 3: Acupuncture Modalities
This class covers all acupuncture modalities that you need to know for your exam. The following modalities are reviewed: Needling techniques, Angles and Depths, Tonification and Sedation, Acupuncture Contraindations and Cautions, Three Edge Needles, Cutaneous Needles, Intradermal Needles, Moxa, Cupping, Electroacupuncture, Gua Sha, Injection Therapy, Scalp Acupuncture and Ear Acupuncture

Clinical Case Studies Week 5: Biomedicine II
This class expands the principles of biomedicine, reviewing key signs, symptoms and tests for common biomedical western diseases. In completion, the uses of pharmacology and orthopedic testing are discussed as well.
Clinical Case Studies Week 6: Pharmacology
Pharmacology is a topic that many TCM students feel uncertain about. This class introduces students to the study of pharmacology and common terms. From there, we explore the different drug classes, the common drugs in each class, their uses, side effects, etc. We also discuss how drugs work on the body and the pathway they take to treat disease.
Clinical Case Studies Week 7: Medical Red Flags
This one-hour class will give you the necessary information about important Medical Red Flags that all acupuncturists should be aware of for board exams and clinical practice. Please be aware that this book was written for the USA audience. It is on the Pan Canadian book list and is used. What is important is knowing the signs and symptoms that warrant a referral. These are universal and not based on country. Where referral to a specialist is mentioned, change this to a referral to your patient’s physician.
Clinical Case Studies Week 8: TCM Diseases I – Internal Medicine

Internet Connection
Most modern computers can stream videos and live events with no problem. In order to participate in the TCM Review exam prep courses, please consider your internet speed.
We use Vimeo to stream our class videos. Watching a YouTube video with no problem is not a good indicator of whether you will be able to participate in the course (especially live webinars) without interruption – the quality of YouTube videos is much lower.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Recorded videos – at least 2-3 mbps download speed
- Live webinars – at least 4-6 mbps download speed and 6-10 mbps of upload speed
To determine your internet speed, check with your internet service provider (Comcast, Verizon, etc.) or run a test at speedtest.net.

WHAT STUDENTS ARE SAYING
“I am beyond grateful for the incredible support and guidance I received from TCM Review and Bina throughout my preparation for the Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture exam. Passing this exam is a monumental achievement for me, and I can confidently say it would not have been possible without Bina’s expertise and unwavering encouragement.
The course materials were comprehensive, well-structured, and easy to follow, covering all the essential topics in a clear and organized manner. The practice questions and mock exams provided a realistic glimpse of the actual test, which helped build my confidence and reduce test-day anxiety.
What truly set this experience apart was Bina’s personal touch. Her patience, motivation, and dedication to each student’s success are unmatched. She was always available to answer questions, clarify concepts, and provide reassurance when I needed it most. Her encouragement kept me focused and driven even when I faced moments of doubt. I wholeheartedly recommend TCM Review and Bina’s support to anyone preparing for the TCM acupuncture exam. The course is thorough, engaging, and incredibly effective.
Thank you, Bina, for being such a vital part of my journey to success!”

Dear Bina,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the Pan Canadian Exam course offered on your website. The course was instrumental in helping me pass the acupuncture board exam in April 2024. Thanks to the valuable resources and guidance from your course, the content was incredibly thorough, and the practice questions were remarkably similar to those on the actual exam. This alignment greatly enhanced my preparation and confidence. Your efforts in creating such a thorough and accessible program are truly commendable. Thank you once again for your dedication and support in helping students like me achieve our professional goals.
Warm regards,

Thank you to Bina and her team for an extremely helpful and informative review course! I passed my Pan-Canadian multiple-choice theory component as well as the case study component!
This course prepared me tremendously and boosted my confidence greatly. Bina’s textbooks, extra course resources, class videos, and tutorials deepened my knowledge of TCM. I thoroughly enjoyed having practice quizzes, tests, and mock examinations to utilize with feedback given immediately. The opportunity to receive feedback did not come often during my studies, so I truly appreciate the feedback as it helps me to see where I went wrong and what areas I can improve upon. Thank you so much again for all of your help, I could not have done it without TCM Review!

TCM Review is hands down the BEST prep class for the Pan Canadian Exams.
Bina’s recorded classes, test bank, online drills, and case studies helped me to not only pass the exams the first time it also helped me to integrate all the information that I learned in school. If you are looking for a comprehensive prep class, look no further. This course is definitely a 5-star.

I passed my exam!!! Obviously thanks to the incredible amount of videos and quizzes of your TCM Review course. And your Sunday classes. So helpful. I am so relieved. I could have never figured out on my own how to prepare! Also, I loved that you said I should have post-its with the % I want to reach in the exam. Believing that I would pass the exam made a difference.
