Best Practices to Follow When Using  TCM Review’s Quiz Platform: 

  • If you leave yourself logged in to the site, you will at some point be automatically logged out after 48-72 hours. This happens automatically and can happen when you are taking a test. The best practice is to log out of the site at the end of the day.

  • Tests that sit idle are automatically shut down. We have changed the site so that scores for these tests are not calculated into your overall score.

  • If you are using the site heavily, please be sure to clear your browser history at the end of the day or the end of every 4-hour period. Browsers store website data. This can trip up the quiz site, especially if you are spending hours every day running tests.

  • The site does not allow for more than 1 open quiz at a time. Any previously opened quizzes will automatically be shut down when a second quiz is opened up on any device or browser.

  • Do flag any question you feel is in error. There is a small red flag in the left-hand corner of each question page. No need to add a picture, simply flag the question and add the details of what you feel is the error. Bina checks flagged questions daily and will respond to you within 24-48 hours Monday through Friday.

  • If you experience a delay while testing, get a spinning ball, or your exam stalls in any way, refresh the page. DO NOT CLOSE DOWN YOUR BROWSER. There is a safety switch in place. The quiz will save your place, and you can resume from where you left off.

  • If the number of questions decreases instead of increases, this is because we have either omitted questions from certain quizzes or omitted quizzes from your course. This is not a platform error. We are always changing the bank based on the current Exam outline and user feedback.

  • Watch this video to understand how to best use the quiz site. This video was presented to the CALE students. It has been edited so that it is relevant for all exams: NCCAOM, Pan Canadian, and CALE. There might be a mention or two about the CALE exam. This is not important. What is important is that you understand how to best use this platform to prepare for your exam.
