“Feedback-wise – the course covered everything well on the exam! I was happy to have the extra coursework on modalities, 8 extras, scalp, and also specific empirical point-type questions. I didn’t concentrate so much on those smaller details, favoring the logic of the single-point functions and prescriptions in my studying. I passed anyway – woohoo, but I would recommend for someone who wants to feel more comfortable and sweat less (lol) during the exam, to just spend the time memorizing more.

“I know you have heard it countless times but I am sure the feedback matters, so add this to your stack of success stories! On July 30, I passed the Foundations board – One and Done!!!
I purchased TCM Review Foundations 7 weeks before my board exam and felt it might not be enough time to study but I pushed hard and did it – with your help!! I am a “non-traditional student” at age 46, having graduated with my bachelor’s degree in 2000! My TCM program was a master’s in acupuncture and was beyond challenging to learn! Having been in the workforce for 20 years, I quit my job and moved from Alaska to Minnesota for my program, selling our home, and moving my husband (who got a new job) and our dogs to a new location, not knowing anyone. It was a lot, in every way possible.
It was TCM Review that enabled me to pass Foundations. I only wish I had purchased this last fall and dabbled in it during the last two trimesters of school as the classes that were “review and synthesis, board prep” did not help me feel confident / learn.
Long story short, I graduated in April 2024, took a much-needed several weeks off, then began studying. Your teachings, especially the repetition (if you take nothing away from this other than that – repetition verbally helps us old brains SO much!!!), the little stories and tips on how to remember things, and the structure of the TCM Review program became my lifeline to pass foundations. Without that teaching, I would not have passed. I was so nervous and overwhelmed in school that I simply did not learn and literally did not retain much!

I was most nervous about my Biomed exam, and I am happy that I chose TCM review as my prep course.
My experience with the course was really positive. The lectures were thorough enough to reinforce learning while also being a jumping-off point for deeper study areas. I found the quizzes especially helpful for identifying weak points and helping me to shape my study methods. It’s a tough exam, and even with all of my studying, I found myself struggling at moments and unsure of how to answer certain questions. I had to dig deep and had Dr.Pontecorvo’s voice in my head through many of the questions.
The time spent preparing for the test with the TCM review paid off, and I was able to pass on my first try! Can’t thank you enough for helping me through this process.

TCMREVIEW really helped me get to and stay on track with my Acupuncture board preparation! It was a bumpy road, but Bina and the staff were always there for support. The videos and practice tests really set the tone for what was coming. Extra materials, like compiled downloads were available for “grab and go” study sessions, which were convenient on my busiest days.
The BIG PICTURE video, I believe, saved me on the test. I learned it, practiced it, and then on Board Test Day, wrote it down on scratch paper. I referred to it over a dozen times! It was as if I was taking an open-book test!
I also loved Bina’s 4 Needle Technique Video. Made easy work of an Ancient System. Clean Needle Technique is also covered very well with TCM REVIEW. And as Bina says, “Remember, this is a SAFETY TEST”, so going over the CNT Manual on video, then running through the provided questions was a GREAT review of rather dry material!

Hi, I hope you are doing well. I am writing to thank you very much for your help and support. I had all my exams passed in 1 blow and got my NCCAOM Diplomates last week finally!
I studied TCM in Chinese and so was very anxious about the exams 4 years ago. Luckily I googled and found TCM reviewer. Bina’s lessons are very helpful and informative. I have learned a lot of new knowledge and knew where to start my revision. The multiple choices are very useful, too. It makes sure I get familiar with case studies questions. I felt more confident to take the exams.
What’s more, I felt overwhelmed when I saw the CNT course book. I tried to study myself before I attended TCM reviewer’s class. It was very unproductive because I tried very hard to read, but just finished reading a few pages for whole day. With Bina’s help, I got the whole picture in just a few hours!

Just wanted to write this email to let you know I passed the NCCAOM Acupuncture exam thanks to TCM Review. I had been out of AOM school for 3 years to go to chiropractic school and after graduating, I wanted to go back to get my acupuncture license. After passing the Biomedicine and Foundations exams with ease, I failed the Acupuncture exam twice and did not know how to improve, and I found myself really struggling with the point prescriptions questions. Signing up for TCM Review, I was able to find out exactly what the exam wants me to look out for in order to answer those questions correctly and I can say proudly that I finally passed my exam. TCM Review is an amazing program! As we all know we have learned so much in the years it took to get our degree- and having tests that include everything in one can be overwhelming…but not with TCM Review, Bina really breaks down subjects into easy to follow sections and gives us a path to follow so when we approach studying we aren’t overwhelmed by the magnitude of information. Thank you so much for preparing me so well. I learned so much from the classes that I watched that I have never learned. I felt like you were able to condense the important information that was needed on the NCCAOM acupuncture session. I also liked the way you broke down the functions of each different important points that was so hard to remember, how to do the antique points phone number, as well as the YUAN/LUO/XI point sequences. I also appreciate the way how you broke down the case studies and how to choose the RIGHT choices regardless whether they make sense or not, as long as they work in the point formulas.
What’s great is that some of these point prescription I can bring it out into my own brand new practice and really see them be put to work!! I am so excited and I owe my success largely to Bina for making it more accessible and digestible and my own efforts to studying and doing my best. Thanks team at TCM review! I passed all four exams the first time. The videos were an easy and accessible way to review information I learned in school and introduce topics that weren’t covered. The practice tests were a great way to reinforce knowledge. I used it both on my laptop and home and on my phone while I was out in the world. I recommend tcm review to students I tutor as well because the information is clear and concise. I really appreciated Bina’s case study strategy to eliminate down to the best answer. It definitely improved my confidence and accuracy with case studies in all the subjects.
When I first began using tcm review, I had already started using another review website. That one was wonderful (I thought) and I was doing well, but then I watched one class video from Bina and I was hooked! I discovered I didn’t know half of the important aspects I needed! I changed over to using Bina’s tcm review exclusively and within 4 weeks I knew so much more than I had learned before. My confidence went up. It was well worth the money.
I really like that Bina is available for one on one questions and that she points out things that would make a good test question in her videos. Like any other review, most of the work is your own perseverance, but I would take a walk every day and listen to Bina for 2 hours and then go back home and develop study materials or take quizzes – worked great for me and I passed on first attempt. Using her study schedule helps best! Thank you, Bina!

TCM Review was an excellent choice in review materials and I am glad I choice right. Their course videos offer a tremendous amount of knowledge and is well thought out in a way that helps you better understand the material. Obviously NCCAOM is very different than CA exam (which I took about a year ago). Your review course definitely helped me to over-prepare which I exactly what we need and to pass on the first try. The outline published by NCCAOM is critical and to make sure the students study those topics exactly. You mentioned that in your intro video.

At the beginning of December I passed the National Licence
Foundations exam! I took TCMReview 3 month preparation and review
videos and my God this is something I needed. Studying at my own paste
and making sure I got all the areas covered with a special attention
on the one I kinda forget. How helpful it was when Bina would say in
Videos to memorize or to make special attention to some lines it was
actually able to guide me well through a few questions, cause I flag
it in my mind.. To me Exam was hard, like a rollercoaster of short and

What can I possibly say?! I was so fearful of NCCAOM boards since I started my journey of becoming an acupuncturist. Originally, I took the Kim class for Acupuncture and Foundations. Both of my exams were unsuccessful. The content of the course is too dense and the constant use of Google is confusing. TCM Review is a lite version of Kim. If you do not have time for the endless google searches and tangents, but rather would like a clear and concise course, I recommend TCM Review Seminars. Bina originally purchased this course from HB after he stopped teaching it in 2008. She developed it into what it is today and then shared the new updated material with Kim to get him back up to speed when he was ready to teach again in 2014.
Bina’s teaching style is clear and concise. Her deep understanding of pathophysiology and disease progression makes her a master of TCM. Her knowledge of TCM is unsurpassed. Be sure to attend small group tutoring classes. You can also watch the recordings if you can’t attend the classes. These are gold!
Bina was available to answer all of my questions via email, through the testing platform, and by arranging a free 15 minute one-on-one session with her when I was having difficulties.

I just want you to know that your review course and your teaching was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was struggling with the Chinese Med patho/physiology. My background was an ICU RN for 30 years and prior I got a Masters in Cellular Biology. So, Eastern medicine was a different way of thinking and your course helped me learn and understand it. I was struggling, thinking I haven’t been to formal schooling and wondering if I would make it. Bought all the books, but your teaching is amazing and I just wanted you to know that. Thank you Bina and TCM Review. Herbology = One and Done! I highly recommend taking this class if you are weak with herbs like I am. The course is clear, to the point, and well outlined. The practice tests are super helpful. You can flag test questions that you are not sure about and Bina will respond to you within 48 hours. Definitely worth every penny.

I just wanted to let you know that I just took and passed the NCCAOM acupuncture board. I had taken and passed the biomed first, just using only (XXXX) and even though I passed I didn’t feel like I was as prepared as I would have liked to be. TCM review was SO helpful. I have been recommending it to all my friends from school who are either preparing for grad exams or board exams, and now I know that it definitely made the difference for me in terms of feeling like I was well prepared for the exam. I was finally one and done when I signed up for TCM Review! This course helped me pass Foundations CONFIDENTLY and even have 20 mins leftover during my test time. I had taken the exam more than once before after using other review sites and felt like I needed at least 20 more minutes to complete the exam. This time when I passed, before pressing that End Test button, I already knew that I had passed based on the way I felt during the questions. Bina’s assistance through her course and her online support were instrumental in allowing me to absorb the material needed to actually learn the information and pass the course with a sense of ease.

In studying Herbs, many lessons have been learned. How I learn became number #1.
With Bina’s Course, I was able to calmly strengthen my understanding of Chinese Medicine. Before delving into each category, an introduction of basic theory set an overall tone especially for the Formulas.
Advice was given to the students to adjust the study schedule for and when life events arise, which I felt more and more comfortable and confident to take seriously.
Previous attempts of failing, and having up to 40 minutes remaining of the test on several occasions, forced me to calm down between questions. (I used the crossing hands and ankles and breathing as well as imagining I was doing martial arts forms.)
Also, I appreciated the various extensions and workbooks and flashcards that gave both physical and emotional support.
Pretty much, if I can take several years to Pass, so can everyone!
Taking Bina’s herbology course was the best decision I made. Between the study schedule, the new formula videos and the quiz bank, I aced my exam on the first try. Thank you Bina.

I passed my exam (Foundations) thanks to the TCM review. During my commuting time, I always listened to Bina’s lectures. I focused on the areas I was not familiar with (i.e. nutrition, Wen-Bin, Sanjao theories, channel theory, etc.) and I listened repeatedly- literally every day until I got it. As I am not a native English-speaker, Bina’s easy-to-listen, clear and concise explanations on what to expect in the Board exam really helped me. Thanks Bina!
Unfortunately I was unable to focus on studying for the NCCAOM exams while I was in school. I graduated in December and decided to take my exams a month later. I decided to purchase this course in order to organize and structure my review. I binged every day without working much and followed everything Bina told me. It was a very daunting task but I pulled it off and passed my Foundations and Acupuncture modules. I am very thankful and relieved. One and done!

I just passed my last board exam. It’s one I had previously failed by two points. I just want to thank you so much for all of your hard work creating TCM review seminars. I literally had no idea where to even begin with studying and I’m so grateful for your program. I wish I had used it the first time around, then I probably would not have failed.
I passed all of my board exams the first time, due in large part to TCM review. I believe TCM review was instrumental in my board exam success. This is especially true for me because I trained overseas and my tutors had no familiarity with US board exams.
To my knowledge, TCM review has a 100% pass rate for students from the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and TCM. I am well on my way to getting my state license,
The value of this course is priceless. Having attended a Classical Chinese Medicine School there was a tremendous amount of information that was new and or required a different interpretation. The recorded courses were separated into manageable sections with a succinct outline and overview of all the material required to pass. The live Wednesday night class provided an arena to clarify data and principles in addition to gaining ”pearls” of wisdom. The accessibility of Bina and her encouragement and support was invaluable. I would not have passed on my first attempt without this course. Thank you!

I just wanted to let you know that I feel I’ve turned a corner with my Tcm understanding because of your classes. Thank you for your dedication and willingness to teach and record the information that you have. In many ways I feel I was cheated from this kind of knowledge in my education, or at least this depth of dissecting the knowledge. I’ve basically had to relearn 60% of what I was taught in school.

I wanted to…let you know that I passed my foundations exam this past weekend. I literally could not have done it without your help! Your videos, quizes and Wednesday discussions were exactly what I needed to pass. This was my 3rd time taking it and I have never felt more confident going into a test in my life. I did the tcm tests Simple cases, complex cases and layered cases as well as a study prep, but just to measure if I was ready. A lot of people and the other times I took it I was coming down to 10 min left…3 min left and I heard people were running out of time…..when I finished my test I had an hour and 9 min. left over…Thank you so much!
I just want to let you know how Great This review has been for me. I’ve taken 3 of my 4 board exams passed with flying colors. Thank you for having this available for us.

I am so pleased that I purchased your module course review! Having passed my original boards over 15 years ago, I was really worried about the test and how different it might be. I enjoyed watching the online courses and reviewing the material that way. However, I think that using the material along with taking the quizzes over and over probably benefited me the most. Although the test got progressively more difficult, I felt prepared for the case study style questions throughout. Thank you!

I passed all 4 exams the first time no problem. TCM Review provides the structure and the didactic instruction. TCMtests.com is the practice ground. Don’t waste your time shifting through the others out there. These two have it dialed in!
I was educated in China, and I purchased TCM review NCCAOM Full course – Recorded webinar in July 2014. At that time, I was not ready to take the NCCAOM exam, I never have any class in USA and didn’t know where to start until I found your website. I watched the videos, gave myself a year to make decision. Finally I scheduled the Foundation Test last Sep. Guess what, I passed !!! Thank you so much for helping me to build up my confidence ! I took the Acupuncture test in Nov, 2015, and passed again!!! I had the CNT this Feb., didn’t know it is so easy to pass.

In my opinion, TCM Review is the best investment in board prep material out there. They team is caring towards the students and passionate about their work. They were available to me whenever I had a question and could give detailed explanation about the answers. Robert is very knowledgeable about Biomedicine and has been teaching nursing boards for over 10 years. I had a few private tutoring sessions with him before I took the Biomedicine module. Bina gave me a few hours of tutoring for foundations and acupuncture on the material I couldn’t quite grasp. All together a really great experience. I went into the exam confident and I PASSED!

I graduated from acupuncture school 7 years ago, and at that time I had taken an exam prep course with a different instructor. The course wasn’t organized and wasn’t very thorough, however, I was able to pass the nationals but failed the CALE in 2017. I then went on to work for the federal government and switched careers. Seven years later, I wanted to take the CALE again and get back to Chinese Medicine, but after being away from the material and the TCM world for so long, I knew I had to find a great prep course. I’ve heard about TCM Review before and went on their site to learn more. I was very impressed by how organized and clear everything was on the website. I decided right then to purchase the 6 month self-guided course, little did I know that was the best decision I had made.
The course itself is incredibly thorough, extremely well organized, and clear. I really liked how each of the 12 weeks was clearly marked with the different quizzes and videos for their respective weeks. The quizzes themselves were incredibly helpful, and challenging. I personally learned so much from the quizzes and drills, especially the ones I would get incorrect because each question had feedback on why the answer was right or wrong. The test bank is also massive, it has over 6,000 questions and was organized very well. The study schedule that Bina provided was very helpful for me – I didn’t have to think about what I needed to study everyday because it was already planned out. I followed the study schedule and a few weeks before my exam I began taking the full length practice tests as well as the mock exams. Throughout the whole course I requested to meet with Bina several times and she was always so kind in helping me work through things such as my study schedule and what to focus on during my last weeks.
The course has so many valuable resources available to students, such as health & wellness, nutritional and supplement suggestions for studying as well a Hypnotherapy Recording for Test Anxiety recorded by a world renowned hypnotherapist just for TCM Review. I listened to this recording several times before my exam and found it to be very helpful.
In addition to the course and website being extremely well designed and planned out, Bina was always willing to meet with me and was incredibly helpful when I emailed her with questions or when I wanted to schedule zoom sessions to discuss my study strategies or concerns about test scores. She would always make time to meet with me and felt like she really cared about my success. Each zoom session was followed up by very thorough notes of the meeting and sent to my email.

I am very happy to say that after some brutal months of preparing for the CALE exam, I have passed this beast. I solely used TCM review seminars and it was exactly what I needed.
Bina’s classes are on point. Please focus on what she says that we need to know because she is absolutely right, so you won’t be missing out on precious time focusing on a topic that is not high-yield for the exam.
My exam was pretty solid on diagnosis, therefore make sure to watch and rewatch Bina’s classes on tongue and pulse, diagnosis, and Zang fu as these are extra important, and Bina’s break everything down so nicely. Quizzes are also super important and they mimic the exam pretty accurately. The exam is hard, but with good exam preparation is very much doable.
I only have good things to say about TCM seminars. Course prep was awesome and customer service was top-notch. I highly recommend Bina to anyone who is preparing for a big test and wants to pass on their first attempt. Thank you Bina and and TCM Review Seminars for being part of my journey to getting licensed!

The exam was difficult for sure but your test bank is solid and doing the mock exams 4-5x, listening to the drills, making my own study guide based on the recent changes list, and doing nothing and letting my brain rest the day before were the game changers. I studied with 3 other pals and I was the first to “walk the plank” and it was nerve-wracking, but I put in the work the past 4 months (sometimes 12-hour study days!) and felt as prepared as I could be. Also, I didn’t have my own place these past 4 months and was moving from apartment to apartment but your test bank was grounding in an odd way

The CALE review course was incredibly helpful as there is a wide range of material to cover across the last four years of education (if not more). Working full-time, having a flexible schedule for these lessons was exactly what I needed. Though I didn’t make use of the small group tutoring (I wish I had), meeting with Bina and discussing areas of progress/concentration really made a difference—she and the rest of the staff are easily accessible and always happy to help. The tests you take with each section, the CALE drills you go through when you’re closer to your exam date, and the mock exams themselves give you a solid assessment of your preparedness (as well as areas for review). TCM Review helped make CALE “one and done” for me, and I’m turning to them again as I prepare for the National Exams. Thank you!

Of the options available for review, TCM Review was the perfect fit for me. I like to study at my own pace but I need a schedule and some support. Prior taking Bina’s course, I asked my ex-classmates who used Bina’s company. They recommended her greatly for passing exam. I started my preparation in last August. Because I work, I chose a self-pace course. I was able to watch recorded videos and work on quizzes daily without pressure.
Of course, I was nervous about my exam, but I passed it. I felt that I was well prepared after 7 months of my regular study. The most important I found for myself was to go over my mistakes again and again on quizzes increasing my score.

I highly recommend TCM Review to anyone taking boards. It’s just the most efficient way to study! Bina is a talented teacher, and the course material is just spot on. I was absolutely overwhelmed with 4 years worth of information after graduation. I opted for the self-paced course, and it provided plenty of structure for me when I needed it the most. Bina’s test questions helped me to actively study and identify my weakest areas. The live case studies classes were engaging and memorable. Also, I didn’t know a thing about scalp acupuncture before TCM Review. Bina fixed that! And thank heavens because scalp acupuncture showed up multiple times on my exam today. TCM review seminars was a crucial assistant in my passing the CALE. I loved Bina’s study schedule and it helped to give me guidance when I first started studying and didn’t know where to begin. Bina Jangda is a superb instructor. Through her calm and steady direction, knowledgable instruction and exceptional teaching and test-taking techniques, I passed the California exam with flying colors!!! By following her step by step instructions and sound advice for studying for this test, my confidence was increased. I routinely did the visualizations where I imagined passing the test and invested many hours of study time. The night before the exam, I didn’t think I was prepared enough and Bina reassured me that I was ready to take the test and that I would pass. In reference to the exam, I was surprised that it was not as difficult as I expected, the practices that we had in computer-facilitated this new modality, I am from the old school and I like the paper more. I took the TCM Online Review course for the February 2013 CALE, and it was the best decision I could have made in terms of preparing for this exam, and everybody who works there is supportive and motivating. Upon graduation, I felt extremely confidant in my core understanding of TCM, but I was not fully confidant about the CALE (passing a licensing exam isn’t always limited to a reflection of what you know). Taking the TCM Review course provided a fantastic and succinct summary of the TCM Core curriculum (yes, they actually teach!) as well as providing us with tools and resources on how to become efficient test takers (how to dissect questions and choose the BEST answer). This was especially true for the formulas & western sections (for me personally). The overview of formulas with TCM Review was better than any class I had taken, and there was quite a bit in the Western modules that wasn’t covered in my classes at school. I recommend this class to anybody and everybody taking the CALE.
I am so glad I signed up with TCM Review. Their structured course enabled me to focus on the important topics and was crucial in my passing the CALE the first time around. All of their instructors are more than willing to help and are committed to your success. They break down the material into manageable sections and give great study tips which allow you to ‘just study’ and not worry about the other stuff. Couldn’t have been happier with this course!

TCM Review is a “must do” to prepare for the CALE or Nationals. The teachers are all awesome! They tell you what to study, how to study, and how to take the test. They help coach and support you from day one till you get your results. I would highly recommend taking the course twice: once a year ahead, then again just before the CALE. The first time is a wake up call to the reality of what you have to study. The second time it’s for real, and it helps to hear everything a second time. Also, TCM Review has recordings of the classes so that you can listen more than once. Repetition is key, so that was a great feature of the webinar based course. TCM Review is the best!

The class is also more cost effective than some of the other review classes out there but you get a lot more. I passed CALE on my 1st attempt and I couldn’t have done it without tcmreview! I LOVED this course! Bina is not only an amazing teacher and amazing support system she is also an amazing person. She gives you all the tools you need to pass CALE the first time. You get so much more out of this course than you do with any other courses; weekly classes, twice a week drills, mock exams, practice tests, quizzes, nightly drills right before CALE! But the best part is the support you get from Bina. Quick story: About 4 weeks before CALE I was completely freaking out about all the info I needed to know. I sent Bina an email expecting an email response within a day or two. But within minutes my phone was ringing. It was Bina! She completely calmed me down, walked me through the material and spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me making sure I was ok. THAT is what makes this course far superior!

TCM Review was helpful in giving us pointers on how to take the CALE and teaching us good study habits. I picked up some nice tricks for memorizing some of the information that I didn’t get in my school. No review course can do the work for you, though, and you have to dedicate yourself to working hard outside of classes. TCM Review was supportive, and gave me the structure to help me prepare going into the exam. I recommend taking it as close to the CALE as possible.

It’s been just 5 days since i took the CALE board exam. No, it wasn’t a walk in the park but it would’ve been more difficult if it wouldn’t be for the TCM review course. The course taught me how to be quick on my feet, think outside the box and come up with the best answer to any kind of question. I felt there wasn’t an area on the board that we hadn’t covered one way or the other in our classes. Literally from the fist days of the course I felt a personal connection with the instructors. All my questions were addressed with prompt and detailed attention. From the first class, Bina really makes an effort to get to know students on a personal level, adapt to everybody’s learning style and provide moral as well as spiritual support that extends way beyond class material. After being part of the disastrous and disappointing August 2012 exam and then not passing in February 2013, I was very frustrated. I then looked into using TCM Review to help me prepare for 3rd attempt at the CALE. Let me say, that was the best decision I’ve made along my road into TCM medicine! I’ve tried other review courses but TCM Review is the first that worked for my study style. Having online classes with the option of watching them at your own pace, made all the difference. The course also helped me utilize HB Kim effectively and did not require that we purchase a separate study guide. I can, without a doubt, recommend TCM Review to anyone that wants to pass the CALE.

It’s an outstanding service that you provide, to back us up with our strategy for the exam. If I did not do what you said (make flashcards, study 10 hours before exam, don’t miss classes, feel good about MOCK results, self-care, and even how to think about CALE as “semantics”) I would have not moved forward in getting the license. I really had to listen and let go of my beliefs about myself, the exam, and learned to be receptive to advise as well as listen to my body. I passed, getting 19% (35 more points) more than my last exam (I used another review course then) that just means that TCM reviews works!

TCM Review was the perfect way for me to prep for the CALE. I originally chose it because it was the most affordable and convenient option I found out there, but I ended up appreciating the sense of community and support I experienced from the instructors and other students even more. TCM Review .com was a fantastic means of preparing for the California Acupuncture Licensing Exam, which I took August 2011. Even though this Summer the TCM Review was presented in a Webinar fashion, for which I initially had grave doubts about (and due to many and varied technical difficulties through the technical company, and NOT through the TCM .com presenters, my suspicions were apt), the Webinar protocol turned out to be a great and actually very personal means of studying five thousand years of information in an eight-week period. I PASSED the CALE— and, I am very happy about that. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bina and her team of professional teachers for their dedication, and the information and presentation of this complex subject matter as it relates to the CALE. I got my results today, and I passed. I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that the course helped me beyond my expectations. I previously had taken the exam when I graduated (about 5 years ago) and did not pass. I actually ended up having a successful career as an e-commerce consultant. This past year, I decided since it was my last year to be eligible (in Canada) to write the exam I should give it a shot.
After being away from the profession for so long, I really wondered if I should just go back to school. I found TCM review through a Google search and thought this is a good alternative but maybe it won’t work for me. I was really amazed when I realized TCM Review taught me a lot more than I learned in school on how to handle the exam. The way the information is laid out, the repetition of key information and learning the skills you taught to solve case studies truly did affect my score. I studied TCM in HK 20 years ago and I practiced in Toronto for almost 10 years, unfortunately I’d returned back to HK for some family issues in 2011 and missed the registration for grand parenting. When I came back last year, I need to go through the examination. This is a big problem for me to picking up everything back about 20 years ago and convert them to Engish. Under the guidance and practicing, I can almost fully understand all of 200 questions and I think that’s why I pass the examination.

TCM Review was a life saver and worth the purchase many times over. One of the unfortunate parts of school is that they do a great job of instilling fear in you about board exams but not a great job with distilling what to study. When I graduated (like many students) I had a stack of notes and books and a few months to prepare for an exam with an historically low passing rate….SCARY! TCM Review has a great text and accompanying videos that organize all the information and give you timelines and tests to move forward quickly. They also have excellent support and other study tools like flash cards and quizzes if you need them. I may have learned more in a few months with TCM Review than I did in a few years in school.
Take this course you will not be disappointed!

Thank you so much for your wonderful guidance on the Pan-Canadian Exam Review Courses for R. Acupuncturist, I have passed both Written and Case Studies Exams.
Before I took the review course from your institute, I was only focus on the materials from my own school, didn’t pay attention on the three major books for TCM studies, which are CAM, Maciocia and Deadman. You pointed out that the three books are basically the bibles of studying TCM and Acupuncture, they are equally important. The most wonderful thing was, you have summarized all the important point in your notes, and basically I only focus on the materials you provided, which you were basically analysis all three books and compared the difference. Not only that, you know the materials by heart, and explained to us very clear and solved our confusion, on diagnosis, differentiation and selecting of acupuncture points for treatment. You are a wonderful teacher with clear head and care for each student. Your institute deserve to be recognized internationally. I hope the CTCMPAO will recognize your institute be their approved school for review or upgrade courses. The method you used are very interactive and flexible, in terms of long-distance learning using Webinar method to save traveling times. I think this teaching media is very useful for students around the world, and the governing sector should approved this type of school.
This year I am going to write the herbal part of TCM practitioner exam for CTCMPAO registration, and I am planning to join TCM review Seminars to study the herbal parts of the exam. I am sure they are going to give me lots of information and study aids to pass this exam as well.

TCM Review Seminars is an absolute investment into your future career. If you are sitting in front of your screen, contemplating and debating whether this is a worthwhile course, then I would hope that my little bit of insight will help. Firstly, I wish that I would’ve known about this course in my final year of Acupuncture school as a part of my study regiment. The few hours we spend in classroom lectures is not enough review, because the hard work and struggle is continuing that review and study when you’re not in the classroom, when you’re at home and struggling to get into the study groove or plain out procrastinating . My difficulty was finding a starting point whenever I sat down at my desk to open up my notes or my textbooks, when my thoughts were racing a million times faster than the information I had in front of me. Every sentence I read in my textbooks I would be sidetracked with the vast information I had studied earlier; it always felt like I needed to know everything but I wasn’t retaining the information and then panic would set in. With TCM reviews, I had a study materials schedule guideline, recommended textbooks, a course reader, and recorded sessions. There was always an open door to asking questions if extra help was needed, and the weekly live web meetings were absolutely beneficial. I believe my success on my Pan Canadian Clinical Case Study Exam was highly due to my decision to strictly follow the course provided by TCM Review Seminars. If you’ve attempted the exams and you haven’t had that letter with “PASS”, don’t be discouraged, keep up the hard work and add TCM Review Seminars Exam Prep to your bag of valuable goodies.
